“Auto Industry Task Force chair Steven Rattner has abruptly quit this afternoon.”

The Car Czar, Steve Rattner, in charge of the bailout of the American Auto Industry, apparently has a pending investigation into New York State pensions.

He cited wanting to spend more time with his family as his reason for leaving…

I think the investigation has turned up something…

He will be replaced with Ron Bloom, a Steel Worker Union boss.
