Police Acted "Stupidly"

Posted on 23 July 2009 by Mr. Harrington

Folks, Barack Obama thinks that Cambridge police Sergeant, James Crowley, acted stupidly by arresting a man who broke into his own home…

Not just any man…Henry Louis Gates Jr.

But I guess Barry didn’t have the whole story…according to the police report, Gates became belligerent after police came to his home and asked for his information.  He began shouting and soon onlookers arrived.  He began shouting at them as well and police arrested him.

He was shouting, “This is what happens to black men in America!”

You may recognize the Sergeant’s name…that’s because he’s the same man who tried in vain to save basketball player Reggie Lewis 16 years ago.

It should be known that his department has given Crowley its “full and unqualified support.”

After the jump, check out the police report…

Also, after the jump, see updates.  Is the police officer considering legal action?

US Soldiers to be Tried in Iraq?

Posted on 27 April 2009 by Mr. Harrington

According to Fox News, US soldiers involved in a raid yesterday–April 26–that ended in six arrests and two deaths, may be tried in Iraq for “‘grave’ and premeditated felonies.”

This could have dire consequences.  If I were on the ground in Iraq, I would be worried about taking that shot…

Folks, this cannot happen.  Our leaders better be on top of this…

Alabama Getaway

Posted on 18 March 2009 by Mr. Harrington

The Army, not the National Guard, has been deployed on U.S. soil.  Ladies and Gentlemen, this is a violation of the Posse Comitatus Act.  The Posse Comitatus Act prevents the use of the Military for law enforcement.

Here’s what went down…

After the tragic shooting spree in Samson, Alabama, someone–we don’t really know who–called in the Army.  Why?  The military was called in in order to “help with traffic control and to secure the crime scene, ” according to Jim Stromenger, a local police dispatcher.  They were there to do traffic control and securing the crime scene…you know, police stuff…

This would have been OK if Barry O. had called ‘em in or if they were requested by the Governer.  But…apparently none of those people called ‘em in.

1,500 Year Prison Sentence

Posted on 22 September 2008 by Mr. Harrington

No, folks.  You did not read that wrong, nor is it an error.  Carlos Johnson of Sacramento California faces up to 1,500 years in prison for his violent robberies in 2005.

According to sacbee.com, Johnson was convicted of the robberies of “five movie theaters, four hotels, two banks, a parking garage office and a restaurant…” and a partridge from a pear tree.

That isn’t a 1,500 year prison sentence, that’s more like a paragraph.  Really?  Fifteen hundred years?  That is three quarters of the way back to Jesus’ time.  If he is sentenced to this amazing amount of time, he will be released in 3508.  Talk about a long time.
