Sarah Palin Denounces AP Over Released War Photo

Posted on 07 September 2009 by Mr. Fernandez

Sarah Palin today denounced the AP for releasing a photo of a dying Marine, Lance Corporal Joshua Bernard, against his family’s wishes.   It seems however that many Palin haters cannot see through their disdain for the woman and the values she stands for to realize that she is right.  If the family of a dying soldier requested that the photo of their dying son not be released, the AP should have acquiesced.  These Palin haters go on to claim that she has no place speaking out against the AP, citing free speech and freedom of the press as acceptable reasons to release such a photo.  These people disgust me…let’s put these hypocrites on the front lines and see what their families say when a photo of their dying moments surfaces.

Time for Levi to Attack Sarah Palin Again…

Posted on 02 September 2009 by Mr. Harrington

America’s incomparable tool has struck again…

Levi Johnston has gone to Vanity Fair to bitch and whine about Sarah Palin.

He says she was a bad parent, leaving the kids to cook, clean, and get ready for school.  According to the incomparable tool, Sarah Palin bemoaned her position as governor, saying it was too difficult.

And, apparently, she wanted to keep Bristol’s pregnancy a secret by expressing a wish to adopt the child.  She would “nag” Levi about it…

After the election, “Sarah was sad for a while. She walked around the house pouting,” according to Levi.

From Time:

Initially Sarah said the campaign had been a great experience, until she began to hear McCain’s people accusing her of being the reason they lost, Johnston writes. She decided to retaliate, and would say things like “I brought everything to the table” and “The majority of people were out there voting because of me!” According to Johnston, “She definitely thought she was running for president.”

You, know, Levi, I hate to break this to you, but…she’s right.  People were voting for her

UPDATE:  September 2, 2009:

Hell has frozen over.

MSNBC thinks that Levi is a lying scumbag, too!

New Ethics Complaints Against Palin

Posted on 11 July 2009 by Mr. Harrington

Folks, this is getting ridiculous…

Just days after Sarah Palin announced that she would step down as Governor of Alaska, two more ethics complaints have been filed against her.

This is why she stepped down; her office cannot get anything done because of the absurd ethics complaints.

People keep attacking Sarah Palin by saying she is naive.  Folks, I must say, the statement made Friday night shows just how wrong the attackers are:

“I hope this will be a wake-up call – to legislators, to commentators and to citizens generally – that we need a much more civil and respectful dialogue that focuses on the best interests of the state, rather than the petty resentments of a few.”

Many have become so blinded by their partisanship that they have chosen to attack their political opposites, as opposed to exercising proper civil discourse.

Also, it should be noted that of the 19 ethics complaints filed against Sarah Palin, while four remain pending, “15 have been resolved without any finding of wrongdoing,” according to Friday’s statement.

UPDATE:  Sarah Palin said she will jump right into the national political scene, supporting conservative causes, even if that means supporting Democrats.  She is not blinded by partisanship.

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, Sarah Palin will make the announcement this afternoon that she will not seek re-election to a second term as Governor of Alaska.

THIS JUST IN:  Sarah Palin is to RESIGN from the governorship within the next couple of weeks.

Is she gearing up for 2012?

UPDATE:  I am slightly worried that this news comes late in the day–on the east coast–before a long weekend…This could end up hurting her…

In the next few weeks, Lieutenant Governor Sean Parnell will transition into the governorship.

UPDATE:  July 26, 2009 will be her last day as Governor.

UPDATE:  Is it possible that she is buckling under the pressure of the SRM?  Has the State Run Media broken her?

I don’t think so.  I’ll bet, she, and her staff, had to spend so much time defending herself that it was detrimental to Alaska.  Did she take so much flak for whatever reason that it took away from her ability to govern?

CNN’s front page says, “Palin Quitting Early.”  I would say CNN thinks she is buckling…But that’s the SRM for you…

Hillary Clinton Not Going to Moscow

Posted on 01 July 2009 by Mr. Harrington

According to CNN, Hillary Clinton will not be accompanying Obama to Russia…

She can’t go because of her elbow…

I think Sarah Palin should go in her place.

Comment from the other Contributor: I heard Secretary Clinton’s elbow really is the reason why she will not be traveling to Moscow with Obama, mostly because the injury prevents her from pressing the “Overcharged” button she gave to a Russian representative earlier this year.

"Maria" Identified…

Posted on 25 June 2009 by Mr. Harrington

As it turns out, Mark Sanford’s mistress from down Mexico way is named Maria Belen Shapur.

She is 43 and lives with her husband and two sons.

More information can be found here.

Here is a photo of Maria’s apartment building…

It’s only a matter of time before we have a picture of Maria.

For background information, please visit my original post on the issue…

While this is an important story, I urge you to focus on the real stories…North Korea, Cap and Trade, etc.

Please click here to see what’s going on while the camera is on Michael Jackson and Mark Sanford…

UPDATE:  Mrs. Sanford discovered the affair after she found a letter from Maria to Mr. Sanford.

UPDATE:  The New York Post has uncovered a picture–allegedly–of Maria Belen Shapur–as it seems, reporting news:

SANFORD: "I Have Been Unfaithful"

Posted on 24 June 2009 by Mr. Harrington

breaking_badgehttp://matthewharrington.wordpress.com/?s=breakingnews

FOR FURTHER UPDATES, PLEASE CLICK HERE.

Well, this is interesting…I don’t really know what to say.

Remember the South Carolina Governor?  Yeah, that guy who went to hike the Appalachian trail… in Argentina?

Yeah, well, apparently he had an affair with some woman in Argentina…

“We’ve been working through this for the past five months.”

So, apparently, his family knew about the affair before his trip down Mexico way…

And he is resigning as the chairman of the Republican Governors Association….

Will he resign as governor?

Developing…

UPDATE:  This guy’s a bastard.  I think that he told his staffers the story about the Appalachian trail to mislead them…And to leave to see your mistress on Father’s Day weekend…

And, his press conference rivaled that of Blago…Winding through some stories of when he was young, then apologizing to just about everyone, then finally saying he had an affair.

I must say, I almost didn’t notice him say that.

Then he rambled on about how he met this woman…

Bizarre…

UPDATE:  So, thanks to some twitter folk, I was referenced to an article about an investigation into Public Funding of Travel Spending of South Carolina people…

The article, from December of 2008, discusses University of South Carolina officers, but also mentions Mark Sanford…

To quote the article, “Mr. Sanford has traveled to China, Argentina and Brazil through the Commerce Department, which has travel reports showing taxpayers covering $21,488 for those trips.”

Those trips to Argentina…to see his lady-friend…paid for by taxpayer dollars?

I dunno…maybe someone should look into it…

UPDATE:  Mississippi Governor Haley Barbour will replace Mark Sanford as Chairman of the Republican Governors Association.

And another Malkin tweet, “Dear adulterous GOP politicians: Go away. Thnx to u, Obamacare/cap&trade/hotdog diplomacy off the radar screen.”

Folks, this is not the issue.  The issue is Korea and the Obamacare Commercial…Be sure to check out my coverage of the Obamacare commercial…

After the jump, check out the statement from Sanford’s wife…AND JOHN KERRY TRYING TO SPIN THIS TO ATTACK SARAH PALIN!

READ EMAILS BETWEEN SANFORD AND “MARIA.” after the jump…

Rush is Right

Posted on 04 May 2009 by Mr. Harrington

Folks, I wasn’t going to report on this because it is just so idiotic…But then I heard this audio…

Check it out here…

Jeb Bush, Mitt Romney, and John McCain have said that the Reagan era of conservatism is over.

Folks, the Reagan era is not over.  Anyone that thinks it is is not a conservative.

The problem is that there are people like this who call themselves conservatives.

Rush Limbaugh is right when he says these folks hate Sarah Palin.  They hate her because she actually has principals.

She’s dangerous.

Larry King Asks the Tough Questions…

Posted on 23 April 2009 by Mr. Harrington

Are we being serious here?

Larry King asked Levi Johnston, “Where did sex occur? In their house?”

Levi’s anser, “You know, Larry, that I’m a gentleman. And I don’t kiss and tell. So I don’t think that really matters.”

Yes, what an upstanding world citizen you are Levi…

Remember when you called Sarah Palin “snobby?

No…oh…

Later, Larry gets to the tough questions…

Larry King: “She [Bristol] seems to be really ticked. Is there something you did?”

Are you kidding?  Please…tell me this is a joke…

And it gets worse, folks…

Levi Johnston replied, “That might be the case, but I don’t see what it would be.”

Umm…maybe its because you knocked her up and then left…

"But I didn't know this was going to be partisan politics…"

Posted on 17 September 2008 by Mr. Harrington

Ladies and gentlemen, in a turn of events which is eerily similar to the recent SNL skit which everyone is watching, Hillary Clinton has removed herself from a rally against a nuclear Iran because Sarah Palin will be there.

Her excuse for backing out as reported at Fox News accessed September 16, 2008: “Her [Palin's] attendance was news to us, and this was never billed to us as a partisan political event,” Clinton spokesman Philippe Reines said Wednesday. “Sen. Clinton will therefore not be attending.”

Folks, it was not partisan politics until Senator Clinton made it partisan politics. Hillary Clinton made it partisan politics when she said her reason for not going is Governor Palin. Protecting Isreal is not a partisan issue, it isn’t even an issue which should be debated. There is a country–Iran–which wants to push the Jews into the sea, and we–America–should do everything we can to aid our ally.

I see no room for debate. If you do, feel free.

Apparently Senator Clinton sees partisan politics in aiding a friend.
