Here’s what’s going on here. These youths from Ron Clark Academy are on the set of CNN, singing a song for health care reform to the tune of Miley Cyrus’ “Party in the USA.”
According to these youths, the reason there isn’t bypartisan support is because of Joe Wilson…
That’s right, ladies and gentlemen, President Barack Obama, in an interview with a student reporter last month, said that he would give a speech targeting students on September 8.
UPDATE: Conservative Tammy Bruce said, “Make September 8 Parentally Approved Skip Day. You are your child’s moral tutor, not that shady lawyer from Chicago.”
I completely agree. Some school districts are leaving the decision to the teachers with the ability for parents to opt-out. I think parents should have to opt-in…

Basically, it asks teachers to ask students to write letters to themselves on how they can help the president. Help Obama do what?! Propagate his radical, fascist ideas?
Well, now the wording has changed…after outrage…of course…
“We changed it to clarify the language so the intent is clear,” said the White House.

Well, it turns out the “I Pledge” video was actually shown in a school in Utah…
The AP dumbs-down the message of the video, saying the video shows celebrities pledging to different things…and makes no mention of them pledging to serve Barack Obama!
