Cyber Attack Against US

Posted on 08 July 2009 by Mr. Harrington

Ladies and Gentlemen, the AP is reporting that the US is a victim of a massive cyber attack.

The attack, which targeted the US as well as South Korea, was “remarkably successful.”

Targeting computers and websites in the White House, Pentagon, National Security Agency, Homeland Security Department, State Department, the New York Stock Exchange, The Washington Post, and the NASDAQ.

The attack began on July Fourth, and some government websites are still reporting problems…

North Korea is suspected to be the source of the attacks.

I guess we were expecting the wrong kind of missile…

UPDATE:  North Korea’s second in command, Kim Yong Nam, had this to say, “”We will sternly smash the U.S. imperialist forces and South Korea’s puppet regime anti-unification plot.”

N. Korea Threatens to Wipe US off Map

Posted on 24 June 2009 by Mr. Harrington

While everyone is concerned with Mark Sanford…you all should be concerned with North Korea threatening to wipe us off the map…

Just sayin’…

Well, here’s what’s going on.  North Korea is mad…probably because they don’t have any food, money, water…that sort of thing..

And because they’re so mad, they are screaming for attention.  They threw some of their toys, but now, its serious.  They were able to get their hands on a gun.  Now, guns are not toys, and a troubled kid with a gun is bad news.  And that attention-starved child now has their gun pointed at us.

So, go ahead and focus more on Mark Sanford’s love life, but remember, there’s a gun to our head…

UPDATE:  Harrington Report compatriot Justin Fernandez is reporting that none of the UN’s solutions are working…

Yesterday, N. Korea disregarded the UN’s letters of “extreme disappointment.”

And today, the UN is organizing a committee to deliver a “disapproving glare.”

Nuclear Threats Against the United States

Posted on 22 June 2009 by Mr. Harrington

Ok, so, both North Korea and Al Qaeda have threatened to to use Nuclear weapons against the US…

Al Qaeda said that if it can get it’s hands on the Pakistani Nukes, it will use them against the US.

“God willing, the nuclear weapons will not fall into the hands of the Americans and the mujahideen would take them and use them against the Americans,” said some guy named Mustafa Abu al-Yazid.

North Korea seems to think that we’re planning to attack them…And consider their nuclear program a deterrent.  According to the Associated Press, “>On Monday, North Korea’s main Rodong Sinmun newspaper called it “nonsense” to say the country is a threat to the U.S. The paper also warned it is prepared to strike back if attacked.

Folks, this bilateral threat requires swift, decisive action.  We cannot expect to cool everyone’s jets with a few angry letters.  These two countries are like kids with new BB guns.

Further Proof that the Rest of the World Doesn't take Us Seriously Anymore…

Posted on 19 April 2009 by Mr. Enos

Fearlessleader

Well here’s something new. A hostile country has take American citizens hostage and put them on trial. This time, however, that country is North Korea. Two American journalists were taken hostage by North Korea after crossing into the country from China more than a month ago. Since then the journalists, Laura Ling and Euna Lee have been held in a “state guest house” outside Pyongyang. The two, reporters for Al Gore’s media behemoth disaster, “Current TV,” were in the country to interview North Korean defectors. They, along with a cameraman and their producer–both of whom managed to avoid capture–crossed the frozen Tumen river from the Chinese city of Yanji into the country and were apprehended shortly thereafter. They are currently waiting to be put on trial for illegal entry and “hostility toward North Korean people,” which may result in terms of up to three years and five to ten years, respectively. So two United States citizens are looking at a minimum of 10 years in a foreign prison. That would really go a long way in winning over the hearts and minds of the rest of the world.

The reporter’s capture comes at a particularly perilous time as relationships between the socialist utopia and the rest of the world are crumbling as a result of their decision to launch a rocket over the island-nation of Japan. Moreover, the U.S. state department–led by none other than Ms. “Overcharged” herself--has been mum on the issue. The same is true of President Barack Obama–although he is too busy making friends with South American countries who hate us. Perhaps he is going to pull a “Maersk Alabama” on North Korea. Although I doubt the U.S.S. Bainbridge would be able to maneuver close enough to the jail where the reporters are being held for the SEAL snipers to be effective…

UPDATE:  The Journalists in this story have been sentenced to 12 years in a labor camp…sorry for the delay in reporting that…
