Obama: “Every Economist” says I’ve Saved or Created 2 Million Jobs

Posted on 04 February 2010 by Mr. Harrington

More lies from President Obama on Tuesday.

Bami Obama stood before the Nation on Tuesday in New Hampshire and said:

“Now, if you hear some of the critics, they’ll say, well, the Recovery Act, I don’t know if that’s really worked, because we still have high unemployment,” the president said. “But what they fail to understand is that every economist, from the left and the right, has said, because of the Recovery Act, what we’ve started to see is at least a couple of  million jobs that have either been created or would have been lost. The problem is, 7 million jobs were lost during the course of  this recession.”

LIAR!

I mean, really.  Every economist? Every single one?

I’ll do him a favor, even though he said “every economist from the left to the right,” I will exclude The Heritage Foundation, CATO, and all the other crazy-right-wingers.

His own administration–Recovery.gov–says he only “saved or created” 650,000.

I just went to Recovery.gov and it said “Recovery Funded Jobs.”

That’s even more useless than their previous metric of “Saved or Created.”

And, as it turns out, Peter Orszag–who works in the EOP (for all you “f*cking retards“that’s the Executive Office of the President)–has decided that using the SoC metric is so last news cycle. (.pdf)

So they made the switch to a much more reliable system of measurement.

But this is all moot because Bami wasn’t even supposed to say what he said.

Here’s what was prepared for him:

“I understand why some people are wondering whether the Recovery Act has really worked.  Because while these steps mean 2 million Americans are working right now who’d otherwise be unemployed, and our economy is growing again instead of shrinking – and growing at the fastest rate in 6 years – we lost 7 million jobs during this recession.”

LIES.

The economy lost 263,000 jobs in September, according to an article by the New York Times.  This increases the current jobess rate to 9.8%.

Oregon Jobs Lasted One Week

Posted on 29 July 2009 by Mr. Harrington

Folks, this is deception if I’ve ever seen it.  The AP is reporting that, in Oregon, lawmakers have spent $176 million to create jobs.

They created 3,236 jobs.  Most of which lasted only 35 hours.  One work week…

From the AP:

“The White House requires states to report numbers in terms of full-time, yearlong jobs. That means a part-time mechanic counts as half a job. A full-time construction worker who has a three-month paving contract counts as one-fourth of a job.

Using that method, the AP’s analysis of figures in Oregon shows the program so far has created the equivalent of 215 full-time jobs that will last three months.”

More from the AP:

“If Oregon’s dollars-to-jobs ratio remains steady, the program will create about 688 full-time, yearlong jobs. So far, it’s generated only enough hours to employ 54 people full-time for a year.”

Is this what is happening nationwide?

Nancy Pelsosi Wants Us All to Go Green

Posted on 28 May 2009 by Mr. Harrington

“We have so much room for improvement.  Every aspect of our lives must be subjected to an inventory…of how we are taking responsibility.”

Folks, what does that mean?

She’s over in Shanghi or something, preaching to students about how we should become green…

Is that really what the Speaker of the House should be doing?  Especially now, when Barack Obama wants to jam through some climate bills?  And some approval committees?

But, ladies and gentlemen, I feel that this is just a distraction from what is really going on…We should focus on the important issues, like what is really inside the climate bill…

The New Climate Bill Isn't Just for the Climate…

Posted on 27 May 2009 by Mr. Harrington

If you lose your job because of the new climate change bill…they will pay you for…three years…

And, according to Glenn Beck, that could cost the taxpayer…$33 Billion.

Here is the reasoning.

2.2 jobs are lost for every green job created.

Barry O. wants to create 5 million green jobs.

That’s 11 million lost jobs…That’s a devastating number of lost jobs.

$3,000 for each person whose job has been destroyed…

$33 Billion.

Why do the congress and Barack Obama want to jam through all these bills and approval hearings?  Probably because they don’t want people to read the bills, or ask the tough questions…

SPEND!

Posted on 21 April 2009 by Mr. Harrington

engrish-funny-poor-peoplejpg

Folks, another spending bill has been signed.

Today, Barack Obama signed a…get this…

$5.7 billion service bill.

This service bill will, over the next several years, triple the size of the AmeriCorps.  And if you don’t know what the AmeriCorps is…its the fake National Guard…basically they help the Red Cross do their job…and “helping the elderly…

You can buy lots of shovel ready jobs with that kind of money…

If they buy the shovels in bulk…they could probably save a lot…

Beach Day!

Posted on 12 April 2009 by Mr. Harrington

Virginia Beach may use stimulus money for…

SAND!

Virginia Beach, afraid that they may be overlooked for economic stimulus money for their beaches, launched a campaign lobbying officials for money to replenish beach sand.

While I understand it is their namesake…This is a little ridiculous.

The city, if it gets its way, will receive $10 million to replenish beaches…This will employ sixty people…

?? Where Has All the Money Gone???

Posted on 22 January 2009 by Mr. Harrington

Are you kidding me?!

They want to spend one trillion dollars–that’s a one…with twelve zeros–and they can’t guarantee one god damn job?! Please…

Now don’t get me wrong, I don’t think government spending will create any jobs…but I thought at least they would tell us it would…Jesus…just make something up…

I don’t believe it.

Pinhead.
