Nancy Pelsosi Wants Us All to Go Green

Posted on 28 May 2009 by Mr. Harrington

“We have so much room for improvement.  Every aspect of our lives must be subjected to an inventory…of how we are taking responsibility.”

Folks, what does that mean?

She’s over in Shanghi or something, preaching to students about how we should become green…

Is that really what the Speaker of the House should be doing?  Especially now, when Barack Obama wants to jam through some climate bills?  And some approval committees?

But, ladies and gentlemen, I feel that this is just a distraction from what is really going on…We should focus on the important issues, like what is really inside the climate bill…

UPDATE:  Soon after she said that, Kermit the Frog could be heard griping his belief on the matter…

The New Climate Bill Isn't Just for the Climate…

Posted on 27 May 2009 by Mr. Harrington

If you lose your job because of the new climate change bill…they will pay you for…three years…

And, according to Glenn Beck, that could cost the taxpayer…$33 Billion.

Here is the reasoning.

2.2 jobs are lost for every green job created.

Barry O. wants to create 5 million green jobs.

That’s 11 million lost jobs…That’s a devastating number of lost jobs.

$3,000 for each person whose job has been destroyed…

$33 Billion.

Why do the congress and Barack Obama want to jam through all these bills and approval hearings?  Probably because they don’t want people to read the bills, or ask the tough questions…

Gore Backs Chickens Out and Doesn't Allow GW Skeptic to Testify…

Posted on 24 April 2009 by Mr. Harrington

Lord Christopher Monckton, an adviser to Margret Thatcher, was to testify with Al Gore in front of the House Energy and Commerce Committee.

The discussion is part of the committee meetings about the American Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009.

Monckton had this to say, “The Democrats have a lot to learn about the right of free speech under the US Constitution. Congress Henry Waxman’s (D-CA) refusal to expose Al Gore’s sci-fi comedy-horror testimony to proper, independent scrutiny by the House minority reeks of naked fear.”

According to the article:

“…Monckton claims that when the Democrats were told who the GOP witness would be, they refused to allow him to testify alongside Gore.”

Fruit Salad

Posted on 26 March 2009 by Mr. Harrington

File:Fruit salad closeup.jpg

Ladies and Gentlemen, the War on Terrorism is over.  We didn’t win, but we also didn’t lose.  It has just been renamed:

Overseas Contingency Operation.

What the hell does that mean?  Folks, it doesn’t mean a damn thing.  It is one of those things that sounds really complicated but doesn’t really tell you anything.  Let’s break this down…

Overseas–Not in America

Contingency–”The quality or state of being contingent”  Contingent–likely but not certain to happen, or dependent upon something else.

Operation–”a usually military action, mission, or maneuver including its planning and execution”

So Basically, it should be called “A Not in America Military Action that is Likely but not Certain to Happen or is Dependent Upon Something Else,” but that probably wouldn’t fit on the business card…

You know, Glenn Beck brought up a good point.  Let’s just call the Global War on Terror “Fruit Salad.”

Goodbye Dollar!

Posted on 25 March 2009 by Mr. Harrington

Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls. I have proof that Tim Geithner is unfit for his position.

“Anything he’s thinking about deserves some consideration.”

Now who is “he?”  Well he is Zhou Xiaochuan.  Now, who the hell is Zhou Xiaochuan?  He is the governor of China’s central bank.  Why should you care?  Because he wants to get rid of the dollar and make a global currency.

Geithner: “I haven’t read the governor’s proposal. He’s a very thoughtful, very careful distinguished central banker. I generally find him sensible on every issue.”

The guy who is responsible for the security and continued use of the United States Dollar thinks it might be good to not use it…

He was successful in covering his ass:

Geithner: “We will do what’s necessary to say we’re sustaining confidence in our financial markets.”

When asked if he had doubts about the dollar’s continued centrality, he said, “I do not.”

Failure of the Educational System:

Posted on 17 March 2009 by Mr. Harrington

Ladies and gentlemen; a while back I was sick.  I missed a couple days of school with a fever.  During that time, an assignment was due for my English class.  A proposal about our topic for the year.  My group turned in the proposal without my portion.  The teacher was generally displeased with the class’ work, and asked everyone in the class to redo the essay.  I offered to do the revision because I felt bad about the situation.  I’m glad I did because today when I was revising, I read the version they turned in.  Let me just tell you, it’s horrible.  The only thing worse than this is when Dante tried to print out a video in my Chemistry class during summer school…  Take a look after the jump…

Global Warming to prevent Gore Hearing

Posted on 26 January 2009 by Mr. Harrington

Now, ladies and gentlemen, the Drudge Report has reported that, due to winter storms, Gore may not be able to testify about global warming to the Senate committee on Foreign Relations and the Frenchurian Candidate.

Don’t have a Gore-gasm.
