But, people seem to be missing the point.  Nancy Pelosi, for example, called those asking questions of the Messiah “Un-American.”  But, in 2006, she said, “I’m a fan of disruptors.”

And he also blames the “ruckus” on “cable news.” Now, ladies and gentlemen, let’s not be dim here.  He means Fox News.

But, if it turns out these groups are getting marching orders from groups,–in the words of Rush Limbaugh–’bout damn time.

And I completely agree.  The aggressor sets the rules, folks.  The left-wing loons set a precedent for disruptive behavior, and to refer to the questioning of an elected official as “Un-American” is simply that.

Now, let’s take a look at the real astroturf.

Now, I must admit, I get my marching orders from MoveOn.org.  I receive their email…just so I can know what’s going on in the world outside of my God and Guns…

• Last night in Tampa, Florida, a town hall meeting erupted into violence, with the police being called to break up fist fights and shoving matches.¹
• A Texas Democrat was shouted down by right-wing hecklers, many of whom admitted they didn’t even live in his district.²
• One North Carolina representative announced he wouldn’t be holding any town-hall meetings after his office began receiving death threats.³
• And in Maryland, protesters hung a Democratic congressman in effigy to oppose health-care reform.^4″

Oh my God!  Not in his district?!  Let the record show, that I will be attending Dan Lungren’s townhall meeting in Rancho Cordova in late August.  I do not live in his district.  Bring it on MoveOn!  Also, Sheila Jackson held a townhall meeting where a doctor stood in support of Obamacare.  Hot Air is reporting that she is not a doctor, and is, in fact, an Obama delegate; and was also Lead Organizer for Organizing for America in March of 2008! And, it turns out she was invited by that person who was in charge of that Obama campaign office with the Che flag…

So, as you can see, not so “grassroots.”

Also, I received a link in another email issuing me my talking points.

Basically, it breaks down the top five health care lies.

And finally, in the newest email, they actually want me to write to the Sacramento Bee about how I want government controlled health care.  And, they actually issue talking points.

Remember, these are the same people accusing the “right-wing mob” of just bloviating talking points.

• We can’t afford to wait for reform: Each day, 2190 people in California lose their health care coverage. And without reform, those who still have insurance will see their yearly premiums go up by $9,380 in the next decade—to a staggering $22,660.

And finally, the kicker, ladies and gentlemen:

Craigslist ads offering paid work to “TACKLE the health care CRISIS,” and to “Help CURE the health care crisis and MAKE MONEY.”

Apparently the above video just cherry picked certain statements…but its pretty damning that he said that it will eliminate private insurance…

Here is a quote from the Aspen Daily News:

“Corporate and political influence on newsrooms, along with the conflation of news and entertainment, has created what Rather called ‘the dumbing down and sleazing up of what we see on the news.’”

Folks, Mr. Rather is willing to let some democratic principals die away in order to save democracy. His argument is patently false. If there is a White House commission, there will be political influence on newsrooms. This sort of commission could make the media an agent of a federal government.

From the Aspen Daily News:

“The free press, as established by the First Amendment to the Constitution, ought to operate as a public trust, not solely as a money-making endeavor, Rather argued, and it’s time the government make an effort to ensure the survival of the free press. If not the government, he suggested, then an organization like the Carnegie Foundation should take it on. Without action, he predicted, America will lose its independent media.”

Yes, I agree, but, as someone who wants to break into Journalism, I don’t want my news outlet to be run by the government. While journalism is a public trust–which many outlets have lost, it needs to be independent from the government. How can the media be an agent of the government while still being an independent media?

To quote an article on Bloomberg, “The intention of this plan is to tax high-income households, but the real victims would be America’s small business owners,” the Washington-based group’s president, Thomas Donohue, said in a statement. “Since when does our great free-market country punish success?”

They will also charge married couples a 1.5% surcharge if they make between $500,000 and $1 Million.

And charge married couples a 1% surcharge if they make more than $350,000…

A hospital in Massachusetts is suing the state because of lowered Medicaid reimbursement rates.  The hospital faces a $38 Million deficit–it’s first in five years…and a $100 Million by next year.

The New York Times reported, “According to the suit, Massachusetts is now reimbursing Boston Medical only 64 cents for every dollar it spends treating the poor.”

Folks, more politicians are trying to censor this chart and related language.  As you read above, Democrats feel this chart is inaccurate…

But now, Republican John Carter is feeling the heat from the left in the Franking Commission.  In a recorded audio communication, Carter said, “The House Democrats unveiled a government-run health care plan.”

He received an email from the Franking Commission saying (From CNSNews),

“In the first paragraph change ‘House Democrats unveiled a government run health care plan’ to either ‘the house majority (sic) unveiled a public option health care plan’ or ‘Just this past week the House majority (sic) unveiled a health care plan which I believe will cost taxpayers ….’”

Folks, this amount of censorship shows just how afraid of the people they are.  The Democrats are running scared, and they don’t want to allow Republicans to call it what it is…

Folks, brand new news has come out regarding the CIA, congress, and al Qaeda operatives.

As you may remember, the Congress is kinda mad at the CIA for not informing them of their operations…

And as you may remember, Obama was going to “leave the door open” to prosecuting Bush administration officials.

Apparently, according to some people inside the CIA–and people inside the Wall Street Journal, the CIA had been researching ways to “to achieve a capacity to carry out something that was directed in the finding,” meaning, assassinate key al Qaeda operatives.  Now, as we all know from our Freshman year high school history class, the Ford administration banned assassinations…

The CIA was “acting on a 2001 presidential legal pronouncement, known as a finding, which authorized the CIA to pursue such efforts.”

Now, does the CIA need to inform the congress every time they plan an operation?  No.  But, some are saying they should have because they spend money on the project.  Some estimates say $1 Million to as much as $50 Million.

I find it difficult to imagine that they spent $50 Million because CIA Director, Leon Panetta, terminated the operation when he found out about it in late June.

Here’s what I think:  The CIA needs a certain amount of freedom when it comes to their operation.  The Congress does not need to be briefed every time a terrorist pees his pants.  Also, it seems as though they were not going to “assassinate” the al Qaeda operatives.

The article reads, “Eventually Mr. Bush issued the finding that authorized the capturing of several top al Qaeda leaders, and allowed officers to kill the targets if capturing proved too dangerous or risky.”

The article reads, “The former official said he had been told that President George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney didn’t support such an operation. The effort appeared to die out after about six months.”

It also seems to me that the CIA knew what this program entailed…

The article also says, “The official noted that Congress had long been briefed on the finding, and that the CIA effort wasn’t so much a program as ‘many ideas suggested over the course of years.’ It hadn’t come close to fruition, he added.”

The Congress is trying to implicate Dick “Puppetmaster” Cheney in this whole mess.

CNN contributor and Republican strategist, Mary Matalin, said of Cheney’s alleged involvement in a conspiracy, “Every time they get in trouble . . . they dredge up a Darth Vader story.”

And, apparently, Matalin is married to friend of the Report James Carville.  I’m not a betting man, but I’m willing to wager that he thinks just the opposite…

Now, as of 3:50–the timestamp on Glenn Thrush’s blog at Politico, two officials told the Washington Post that they were present at a bipartisan meeting–in 2002–where waterboarding was discussed.  According to the article, “at least two lawmakers in the room asked the CIA to push harder, two U.S. officials said.”

Folks, this is bad…

I think there should be a truth commission…a Truth Commission to investigate Nancy Pelosi!

But the political debates about interrogation reached a new decibel level yesterday when the CIA was accused of misleading Congress.

Let me be clear: It is not our policy or practice to mislead Congress. That is against our laws and our values. As the Agency indicated previously in response to Congressional inquiries, our contemporaneous records from September 2002 indicate that CIA officers briefed truthfully on the interrogation of Abu Zubaydah, describing “the enhanced techniques that had been employed.” Ultimately, it is up to Congress to evaluate all the evidence and reach its own conclusions about what happened.

My advice-indeed, my direction-to you is straightforward: ignore the noise and stay focused on your mission. We have too much work to do to be distracted from our job of protecting this country.

We are an Agency of high integrity, professionalism, and dedication. Our task is to tell it like it is-even if that’s not what people always want to hear. Keep it up. Our national security depends on it.
