Harry Alford was testifying before the Environment and Public Works when he felt Barbara Boxer was presenting information in a racial manner. She presented a NAACP resolution. She also said, “Also, if that isn’t interesting to you, we’ll quote John Grant, who is the CEO of 100 black men of Atlanta, ‘Clean energy is the key that will unlock millions of jobs and the NAACP support is vital to ensuring those jobs help to rebuild urban areas.’”
So…I’m going to have to agree with Mr. Alford. Pointing out that John Grant is the CEO of 100 black employees is questionable at best…
UPDATE: Now, we all remember when Boxer asked the Brigadier General to not call her Ma’am?
Well, watch the above video again…The gentlemen testifying used the term “Ma’am” several times…apparently not causing any offense to Mrs. Boxer.
So, apparently she only takes offense to being called the commonly accepted term for a woman of her stature when it comes from a serviceman…
