Glenn, Brother, I am with you! As a former military man, I served this country cause I love it. I HATE what our government has turned into and what it is doing to this country! I used to work for the bloated bureaucracy(as a civilian), and saw first hand how bad the government is. This country was founded on the backs of hard working people. It succeeds when the American person succeeds. At this point if the government succeeds, we will have failed! Keep up the good work, and NEVER give up!!

I absolutely love this! I hope the politicians are watching – ALL OF THEM. America is not about retaining power or the different parties, but all politicians seem to be interested in is keeping their job! STOP!!!!!! America is about AMERICANS! America is not a government of the politicians, it is a government OF the people, BY the people, and FOR THE PEOPLE. Politicians need to STOP worrying about keeping their job and START worrying about letting Americans be Americans.

I have been watching this for a few minutes. Glenn is so right about our, government, society, and economy. We have let this country gone a stray. Government cherry picks it’s way into our lives, deciding which invasive way it will make our lives more complicated, and many times worse. Pick your sword, social security, parental rights, issues of divorce, custody. We should hold our government representatives, no matter what their title of position or persuation accountable for their intrusion. Government should only be there if they are needed.

Oh I just hope I’m on the right sight. Listen Mr. Beck, I just saved my home from foreclosure by going to the top. I found out Morgan Stanley owned my Mort. co. and they were getting direct funds from the gov’t to bail them out. To make a long story short,I got online found out who owned Morgan Stanley, and I found out it was John J.Mack. I sent him a certified handwritten letter,and told him what was going on at his co. He actually called me back. After a year of going to auctions on my home w/ my girls, I saved my home and I wanna help other people save their homes to.
If you would like to read my whole story I started a blog/journal of what I went through to save my home. It wasn’t just my home I was trying to save either,in the middle of all this mess,my 4 yr. old little girl broke her arm in half. Guess what? My hubby made too much money for our girls to be on medicaid,but we can’t afford a 900$ premium through his work either.

I like all that you are doing to make this country what our founding Fathers meant for it to be. The folks sent to Washington have lost sight of this, and only do what will fill their pockets. I contact my elected officials every day, even the President and that idiot Biden. It seems to do no good, they have armies of what I call filter people to make sure that they don’t here the truth, only that which follows their agenda. I won’t quit as long as I remain unemployed because their meddling in crap they have no business in. All the stupid bastards have to do is read and follow the Constitution. But, I fear they don’t have what it takes. The greatest part of politicians don’t have the brains to do what the people that elected them want. SAVE AMERICA put a hunting season on them with no bag limit. That is the only way to save this country of ours!!!

The conservative right had control for the last eight years, lets not forget that. The right and the left are liars. The people need to stand up and show some concern in the form of protest and take to the streets if you want to see results. I am afraid our country is now going into a slow decline because we have all gotten lazy. Don’t ever forget our founding fathers took ACTIONS, not wrote blogs or watched Jim Beck. Jim Beck will say anything you want to hear in order to get ratings. If you want our elected officials to not forget your ideals take to streets, go to their offices, go to D.C. and stand up. That’s what makes them honest.

Values are not evident. How is it that the behaviors we observe, the language and the conversations we hear, are not congruent with the values we espouse? Where is the independent spirit in the reporting? What role has mainstream media played? I’m another who goes to Jon Stewart for my news.
I’m actually wondering if it’s a myth that this country ever lived up to these values? Maybe the cowboy psyche of shoot and take ownership without regard to the consequences is the foundation of the American independent spirit.
