Iranian Kool-Aid

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad

So, Iranian Punch will be served to Western Powers on Thursday, according to supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

Well Shah.

I have just received word that they will not be serving punch, but rather, will be serving a punch to the West.

"The Iranian nation, with its unity and God's grace, will punch the arrogance (Western powers) on the 22nd of Bahman (February 11) in a way that will leave them stunned."

Well, I'm not entirely sure when the 22nd of Bahman is...so I would like to thank Breitbart for clearing that up...

Apparently, Thursday is the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution in Iran...so we'll see what the Religion of Peace has to offer.

Maybe they will serve punch...

While I think that this is something serious--can you tell?--Graham Enos isn't worried:

"I bet its just a super intricate fireworks show."

Boy howdy, if anything goes down, there are going to be fireworks, let me tell you.

URGENT UPDATE:

I have just been informed that the punch will leave the west stunned.

Roofies.

Don't drink the punch.

Kennedy: Scott Brown Candidacy

Well, Pat, you're a joke.

Pat Kennedy, son of late, great, Ted Kennedy said,

"Brown's whole candidacy was shown to be a joke today when he was sworn in early in order to cast his first vote as an objection to Obama's appointment to the NLRB."

Hey, Pat, calm down, brother.

You're just mad that the "special interests"--AMERICANS--have gotten what they want.

Obama: "Every Economist" says I've Saved or Created 2 Million Jobs

More lies from President Obama on Tuesday.

Bami Obama stood before the Nation on Tuesday in New Hampshire and said:

“Now, if you hear some of the critics, they’ll say, well, the Recovery Act, I don’t know if that’s really worked, because we still have high unemployment,” the president said. “But what they fail to understand is that every economist, from the left and the right, has said, because of the Recovery Act, what we’ve started to see is at least a couple of  million jobs that have either been created or would have been lost. The problem is, 7 million jobs were lost during the course of  this recession.”

LIAR!

I mean, really.  Every economist? Every single one?

I'll do him a favor, even though he said "every economist from the left to the right," I will exclude The Heritage Foundation, CATO, and all the other crazy-right-wingers.

His own administration--Recovery.gov--says he only "saved or created" 650,000.

I just went to Recovery.gov and it said "Recovery Funded Jobs."

That's even more useless than their previous metric of "Saved or Created."

And, as it turns out, Peter Orszag--who works in the EOP (for all you "f*cking retards"that's the Executive Office of the President)--has decided that using the SoC metric is so last news cycle. (.pdf)

So they made the switch to a much more reliable system of measurement.

But this is all moot because Bami wasn't even supposed to say what he said.

Here's what was prepared for him:

“I understand why some people are wondering whether the Recovery Act has really worked.  Because while these steps mean 2 million Americans are working right now who’d otherwise be unemployed, and our economy is growing again instead of shrinking – and growing at the fastest rate in 6 years – we lost 7 million jobs during this recession.”

LIES.
